Moorepark Technology Limited (MTL) poised for Milk Expansion
Moorepark Technology has plans for the construction of a satellite building connected to the MTL pilot plant to allow an “on-site” location for customers who plan to use the MTL facilities over the coming 5-10 year period. A phased approach is being taken in the construction of this 4 unit structure, which will enable increased opportunities for industry to liaise with and capitalise on the research and technical expertise within the Teagasc Food Research Centres at Moorepark and Ashtown.

New Dairy Innovation Centre based in Moorepark
The Irish Dairy Board (IDB) and Teagasc jointly announced the creation of a new Dairy Innovation Centre based in Moorepark (Cork, Ireland). This initiative was officially launched on Friday 8 July, 2011.

Dutch/Irish Co-Operation on Food Research
Closer strategic links between Ireland and the Netherlands in the area of food research are being developed, particularly in the fields of food technology and food and health. As part of this initiative, the Dutch Ambassador to Ireland, Mr Robert Engels, visited the Teagasc Food Research Centre, Moorepark, Fermoy, Co Cork on Monday, 18 April.

Teagasc Supporting Infant Formula Sector
